According to Amazon.com, the new netbook includes a six-cell “Super Hybrid Engine” battery pack and, depending how it is used, it is possible to adjust the computer for better performance and efficient energy consumption. People can pre-order this netbook (ASUS Eee PC 1000HE 10-inch Netbook) by Amazon (click here).

Some reports said the netbook has an Intel N280 processor that draws about 2.5 power watts, although Intel has not given enough details about the new processor which is similar with the Pavilion DV5000 Battery .
According to Richard Shim, research manager for IDC’s Personal Computing program, netbook batteries that are now available in the market can last up to 4 hours, depending on the screen and wireless capabilities. The fact that the Asus Eee PC 1000HE can achieve up to 9.5 hours of battery life which is more powerful than Dell D5318 Toshiba PA3399U-2BRS is really impressive. Richard Shim needs to see it to believe it, because if it is true, then the long battery-life could generate more interest from customers and netbook sales could rise more than expected.
The Asus Eee PC 1000HE weighs 3.2 pounds (1.45 kg) including the battery. It has a 10-inch display, 1 GB memory (RAM) and a 160 GB hard drive. It also includes high speed connectivity anywhere with Wi-Fi 802.11 and Bluetooth, Windows XP as preinstalled operating system and exclusive 10GB Eee storage with easy accessibility anywhere online with your laptop battery as Sony VGP-BPS8 VGP-BPS9 .
